The Automatic Chef is a portable, adjustable campfire grill, with rotisserie mechanism, that can be utilized while enjoying time outdoors. This thing is the Cadillac of all campfire grills.

How many times have you used a tripod camping grill and burned the food on one side of the grate while the food on the other side didn't get cooked? Do you have trouble getting your food on and off the grate while it's hanging (and swinging) over the fire? I know I've burned myself more than once in this process, but the Automatic Chef Campfire Grill solves all these problems and more!

With the Automatic Chef there is no need to continuously rotate the food in order to fully cook the meal, and while the fire should not be left unattended, there is no need to give the cooking process your complete attention. The Automatic Chef turns the grate 360 degrees at a slow, steady rate to continuously expose the cooking surface to the campfire's heat source, cooking your food more evenly.

Plus, the whole grill pivots at its anchor point so you can swing the whole grate full of food away from the flames and either let it cool, or handle the food away from the campfire. The grill is also adjustable for the optimum height over the fire and it adjusts in and out so you can center the grill grate over the flames. These guys thought of everything with this grill!

Why you need the Automatic Chef at your campsite

When grilling food over an open fire, the heat source is not as even and controlled as when using an indoor grilling appliance. Hot spots will unevenly cook the food and it can be burnt in one place, while it is still raw in another.

What this means is that the grill grate must be continuously rotated in order to create a completely cooked, edible, appetizing meal. With traditional campfire grills and tripod grills, you have to constantly tend to the grill and manually rotate the food to get it to cook evenly. It's a nonstop process of tending the grill, and you don't have time to relax and enjoy yourself.

How the Automatic Chef cooks so evenly over the campfire

The Automatic Chef has a battery-operated rotisserie mechanism housed in a stainless steel case to prevent weather / heat damage. It only requires two (2) D sized batteries to operate the rotisserie motor, which slowly rotates the grill 360 degrees. Or, if you want to stop the rotation, you can switch the motor off whenever you want.

The Automatic Chef features a 22” diameter steel grill grate that folds to fit in the included carrying case. For use with the campfire, the grill grate unfolds and hangs from cables (much like a standard tripod grill). The cables allow for easy height adjustment of the cooking surface so you can optimize the temperature for cooking your food over the fire.

Ensuring easy set-up at any outdoor location, the Automatic Chef base’s anchoring spike is simply inserted into the ground near the campfire or fire pit. With the Automatic Chef, there is no need to continuously rotate the food in order to fully cook the meal, and while the fire should not be left unattended, there is no need to give the cooking process your complete attention.

Constructed from carbon steel, the Automatic Chef is designed to stand up to the elements and hard use associated with outdoor cooking.

After the Automatic Chef is disassembled, all parts are conveniently stored in an easy to transport, compact, compartmentalized carrying case (included). Both the case and some of the parts can be wiped down or pressure washed for easy clean-up. This portable, adjustable campfire grill can be easily assembled at a variety of outdoor locations.
